On this Celebration of Commitment Sunday, we have much to celebrate.

For those involved in numerous ongoing decisions the process is going quickly. And that is only possible with a great team of contractors and subcontractors. Let’s be thankful today for their commitment to truly serve the needs of Rush Creek. Their servants’ hearts are evident.

Likewise, the financial commitment to the campaign is also something we can celebrate. You will hear more detail yet today on where we are at financially, but to be (roughly) 2/3 of the way toward our 3 year goal is worthy of praise. The dollar commitment is amazing.

An equal and abiding goal is to aim toward 100% congregational participation in the project. We aren’t there yet. Scripture tells us that faith is the assurance of things hoped for, and the conviction of things unseen. If you have not done so, please consider a financial commitment and return a pledge card to the office.  We all need to grow in the grace of giving and Project: Renewal is a great way for each of us to exercise that grace. We continue to have faith that all who can, will come behind this project financially- at any level of all.

The ultimate foundation for our Celebration of Commitment is God’s abiding commitment to each of us as a body of believers at Rush Creek Bible Church. God continues to demonstrate his faithfulness to this church. Our mission calls us to be a vivid reflection of God’s grace in and for the community we serve.
