Our Bible verse says that God didn’t think it was good for man to be alone. If you keep reading in your Bible, you’ll see that the Lord brought animals He had already created to Adam. Now we know that God easily could have named all of those animals. But God was teaching Adam and us a lesson. 

You see, as Adam was naming the animals, it became very clear to him that he was completely different from the animals and was a special creation. He was created in God’s very image. Keep this in mind, Caleb, when you hear that humans evolved from animals. God’s Word tells us just the opposite! Humans are far different from animals, and when Adam understood that he was alone, God put him to sleep to make a “helper” for him, and her name was Eve!
