Grow Together in God’s Word
At Rush Creek we are passionate about growing together in our knowledge and application of God’s Word! We offer some great opportunities to find and deepen friendships while studying the Bible together:
Community Groups meet on a weekly basis throughout the year and include opportunities such as Joint Heirs, The Branches, Gathering Grounds, as well as Mens & Ladies Bible Studies.
Growth Groups are short term elective classes taught by our Pastors or guest speakers and cover a wide range of topics for 3 to 6 weeks at a time.
Sunday AM Community Groups
Joint Heirs (Adult Bible Fellowship)

A vibrant adult Bible fellowship that focuses on applying the weekend sermon to everyday life.
The Branches

- Location: Courtyard Room
- Topic: Various Topics
- Facilitators: Dr. Ken Kemper & other rotating teachers
Our mission is to be a friendly, loving, and caring environment for the church family. The class ranges from young adults to older adults, offering a deep dive into God’s Word.
Gathering Grounds
- Time: 11:30AM
- Dates: Starts September 10
- Location: Parkside Room
- Topic: The Book of Galatians
- Facilitators: Dr. Phil Long
Join us for a study on the Book of Galatians, as we explore freedom in Christ and the early church’s debates over Jewish and Gentile Christians.
Wednesday AM Community Groups
Men's Bible Study (Breakfast Group)
- Time: 7:45AM (Breakfast), 8:00AM (Devotional)
- Dates: Every Wednesday, Year-Round
- Location: Byron Family Restaurant
- Topic: Various Topics

A community of men who meet weekly for breakfast, building relationships through Bible study and devotionals.
Wednesday PM Community Groups
Men's Bible Study (In-Depth Study)
- Time: 6:00PM – 7:00PM
- Dates: Wednesdays starting August 16
- Location: Parkside Room
- Topic: In-depth Bible Study (Books of the Bible)
- Facilitators: Dr. Phil Long
For men who desire a more serious and thorough Bible study experience, with lots of time for questions and discussion.
Rooted (Young Couples & Parents)
- Time: 6:00PM – 7:45PM
- Dates: Starts September 18
- Location: Creekside Room
- Topic:Relationship Building, Prayer, Bible Study, & Growing in Christ
A community group for young couples and parents of JAM kids, focusing on building deep relationships and growing in the Gospel together.
