Answer:
I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world. (JOHN 17:14).
MATTHEW 12:30, JAMES 4:4, ROMANS 8:7, ROMANS 10:9
Jesus gave us His Word and He told us that the world would hate us because of it. If you are a Christian, you are different from the rest of the world. It is a very sad situation here in America that in public schools there is much confusion about God and the Bible, and what people can say or do.
Many want to keep “religion” completely out of the schools. But when we try to keep God out of schools we end up teaching the kids that there is no God. They are learning that the universe can be explained without God. Well, that is a religion. It is the religion of atheism, believing in no god. I believe that people are afraid of God’s Word and they don’t want to have anything to do with it. Why? Because to believe God’s Word means you allow Him to make all the rules. It means He tells us that we are sinners and He has the right to tell us what is right and wrong. People just don’t like being told they are sinners in rebellion against God, and they don’t like being told what to do.
The Bible warns us that we will be treated badly because we believe in Jesus. We need to know what the Bible says and share it with others so they can see that it is actually a wonderful book, a book of truth that shows us the way to eternal life by believing and trusting in Jesus.
