As we head back into our building next week, here is what we can expect:
First, our contractors have worked diligently to complete the worship center on-time, on a budget, and according to the plans. We are blessed in so many ways through the diligent efforts of dozens of people we may never meet.
Please feel free to come a little early and take a look around! We will even have some coffee brewing.
Second, take a moment to read the bulletin insert. But here are a few highlights.
Over the next 3 months…
- Connecting with others will need to be more intentional
- Various ministries will kick off as space becomes more readily available It’s not safe to assume that this year’s fall ministry plan will look like last year’s plan
- Specific details about the ministry year programming will be available over the coming weeks
We realize that the coming months will include a number of disruptions and inconveniences to the daily happenings of our church. However, this is an opportunity for all of us to grow—and even thrive—as our more comfortable patterns are disrupted. It is a great time to think in fresh ways how we can worship God and serve others during this time of transition.
Thank you to all who have pledged toward Project: Renewal. Your gracious giving is making a difference. If you have not yet taken the opportunity to pledge toward Project: Renewal, there are pledge cards on the table in the back pavilion. As always, we are simply asking all to pray, listen intently, and be obedient to the Lord’s prompting—in that order.
